Meet the team

Our secret sauce is the people behind the magic. With a passion for bringing people together, creating beautiful and meaningful spaces, we’re the team you can trust.

Founder
With a background in marketing and design, and a love of bringing people together, Hannah started Picnic Party as a response to COVID-19 when gatherings were beginning to be limited. But picnics aren’t new: she created her first magical picnic set up in 2017 for her sister’s engagement in the Washington Park Arboretum under a cherry tree. She’s always been a fan of blue cheese and she swears by Trader Joe’s. Hannah will help you upgrade your event into an experience your guests will always remember.

Melody has been making cheeseboards decades before Instagram existed. She’s the industrious and resourceful arm of the team, turning ideas into reality. She’s been dubbed “the hostess with the mostest” more times than she can count. She lends her event and logistics expertise to Picnic Parties to help you bring organization and a thorough eye to every detail.
